Players Code
We play soccer to have fun, to learn and develop a passion for
the game as well as improve our skills. Yet, as a soccer player, we
also have responsibility to our team, team mates, coaches, and
Berryessa Chinese School. We are representatives of the BCS as well
as the team, coaches, parents, and the Chinese community in general.
We must maintain a high level of sportsmanship before, during, and
after each games and practices.
All Players Should:
Play within the laws of the game and most important, the spirit of the game.
Have respect to your team mates. Never blame or argue with your team mates for any play or the outcome of any game.
Be on time and prepare for matches and practice sessions.
Work hard at practices and to follow the instruction from coaches and team staffs.
Display self-control in all situations. No teasing, criticizing, or other acts designed to hurt feeling or cause injury at any time.
Train and play to the best of your ability, have a positive attitude, and encourage others to do the same.
Show respect and courtesy toward the referee and his/her assistants as well as toward the opponents.
Not use foul or abusive language.
Not harass, abuse, or berate a referee for any reason.
Failure to follow Players Code may result in appropriate
discipline actions. For severe and uncorrected problems. players
could be asked to leave the team.
