Language Class: $260 (a late fee of $20, for returning students, will be collected for returning registration applications received after 3/8/2008)
Cultural Class: $120
Adult Cultural Class: $140 (1 hour session; for sessions more than 1 hour, fee will be determined at the start of school) ; More Info
There is No late fee for culture classes provided there is vacancy by the second week of school
New students only: MP, CP, CK, SM1 and all new transfers: $10.00 non-refundable application fee.
External Transfers (new students): $20.00 (including $10.00 non-refundable application and a $10.00 non-refundable test fee).
Internal Transfers: $10.00 non-refundable placement test fee. Please note that only the May placement test is open for internal transfer/skip class. Details please see the "All Other Transfers"section
Book and materials fee for each class (language & culture): varies depending on class; some culture classes will have higher material fees

Late fee of $20, for returning students, will be collected for "returning students" applications received after 3/8/2008.
Check return processing fee: $20 per check
Internal Transfers: $10.00 non-refundable placement test fee.
$20 penalty per occurance for any parent not fulfilling assigned school duty/function. (Please refer to Parent/Student handbook for details).
Full tuition refund the first two weeks of school minus $20 processing fee. Refund forms are available at each campus office. There is no refund after the second week of school.
Processing fee is waived for culture classes that are cancelled by school (SDR).
2/9/2008: Registration packets will be distributed to each class. Students interested in participating in the (skip grade) test must proceed with this registration, AND complete the class transfers application forms from the office.
3/8/2008: To avoid late fee, completed forms must be returned to the Registration Department by each class' representative before 10:45am on 3/8/2008. No forms will be accepted individually. Registration personnel will only accept the forms as a whole class package. All qualified forms will be time-stamped and no application form will be accepted later than 6/7/2008.
5/3/2008 Placement test for all transfers (skip grade) will be conducted at the Sierramont Campus at 1:00pm. See (Map & Direction Session) BCS will notify all students of test results within one week.
Please note that internal students who wish to transfer or skip to another grade, the May 3rd placement test is the only test date.
New students can take either the May or September placement tests to transfer to BCS.
Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten Registration
BCS will only accept new student applications for:
Mandarin Pre-Kindergarten (MP),
Cantonese Pre-Kindergarten (CP),
Cantonese Kindergarten (CK)
Special Mandarin (SM1)
All other classes will be considered transfer students and require placement test. Please refer to the "All Other Transfers" section.
3/8/2008: Priority registration for siblings (brothers and sisters only) of current BCS students for MP, CP, CK and SM1 classes: 9:15am - 10:30am at Morrill Multi-Purpose Room.
3/15/2008: All new students registration: 9:15am - 10:30am at Morrill MPR. Lottery drawing will begin promptly at 10:45 am if the number of applicants for each class exceed the number of seats available.
Please bring copies of your child(ren)'s birth certificate or passport.
Acceptance age for Mandarin and Cantonese Pre-Kindergarten (MP, CP)class: must be 4 years old by 12/2/2008.
Acceptance age for Cantonese Kindergarten (CK) class: must be 5 years old by 12/2/2008.
Acceptance age for Special Mandarin (SM1) class: must be 6 years old by 12/2/2008.
Acceptable documentation: copy of Birth Certificate or Passport.
Recommended age for students to enroll in the entry level classes: between 4 and 7 years old
3/31- 4/26/2008: All transfer application forms will be available at each campus office.
5/3/2008: Transfer test for internal and external applicants for ;
-- MK and up for Mandarin classes
-- C1 and up for Cantonese classes
-- limited vacancies may be available for SM2 and SM3 classes (Placement test including oral test will be required.) will be held at Sierramont Campus at 1:00pm.

5/10/2008: New parent orientation will be held at the Morrill Multi-Purpose Room from 9:30 am to 10:30am.
Attendance at the new parent orientation is mandatory. Your child's privilege to attend BCS will be forfeited if you are not present at this orientation.
