election (Chaoyi)
· Board election today. Please come to office to vote.
4.2.
Culture
department hiring discussion (Hua-Ching)
· Employee need to be 16 years old and above to be employed by BCS. For the helper under 16, we only can provide community service.
· Teacher who is above 16 years old and under 18 years old also needs day school approval.

New Business
5.1.
Motion
to form committee to review bylaw and recommend Oliver as the leader.
(Liang-Ping)
· (HuaChing) Recommend teacher to be the member of the group.
· (Oliver) Recommend to form group. One core group with smaller member to review bylaw and another bigger group to provide comments.
· (Oliver) Recommends LiangPing as co-chair.
· (Albert) the committee member needs to be approved by board.
· There is a motion to approve. 22 approved. Motion approved.

Departmental Reports
6.1.
Principal (Ben)
· Accident happened in Sierramont middle last week. Room parents applied medicine, but the student has allergy to that. Working on the guide line.
o Only apply the first-aid kits
o Inform the parents immediately.
o Send the student to the office.
· ANCCS meeting: Discussed about Confucius day (9/23). Recommend to hold ceremony in BYC. BCS will provide help.

Administration (Johnson)

email on teacher banquet. RSVP deadline today for teachers.

New parent
orientation next week. Send slides to curriculum department.

Kite contest
6/3. Sign up form in every campus office.

Need to hire teacher. Please refer teachers to the BCS.
· Preparing teacher award plate for teacher banquet.
· (Ben) For each department, please send the long term helper list. BCS wants to invite them to teacher banquet.

Culture (Hua-Ching)

Finished culture
classes students’ assignment.

Interview
candidate with proposed new culture class. Plan to open the class for first two
week. Will open the class if student is enough. Waiting for teacher to confirm.
