Go to the classroom for the student. To find which classroom, look at the campus map (Click Here), find the language class, and then find corresponding classroom number.
Look on the language class lists posted outside of the office and look for your kid's name, then find the classroom for that class on the campus map.
Go to the line for Registration dept and they can verify. You will need to tell them what language class they were in last year (e.g. M3A); just grade level will not be specific enough. You may also be asked to proof of payment.
You can fill out an internal class transfer form and apply with the Registration dept. Same grade transfer will need approval of VP of Instruction and Dean of Registration. The form must be completely filled out, including student ID# and currently assigned class, e.g. M3A. Your request will be processed and you will be notified of the decision.
You can fill out an internal class transfer form (pink) and apply with the Registration dept. The form must be complete filled out, including student ID# and currently assigned class, e.g. M3A. You will then need to bring your child to the Sierramont campus library at 1:30pm on 9/16 for a transfer test. You will be notified of the result within the week after the test.
You can go to the Morrill MPR and apply for refund, your previous tuition payment will be verified against our record (you will be asked to show proof of payment if we do not have record of your payment).
Please check with the Cultural dept personnel to see what classes are still available, then fill out a pink transfer form, clearly stating your child's name, student ID#, current language class, and what new cultural class you desire.
Please check with the Cultural dept personnel to see what classes are still available, then fill out a pink transfer form, clearly stating your child's name, student ID#, current language class, and what new cultural class you desire. There is a limit of one transfer per student, this is so that it would be fair to all students.
Please fill out a green new student application form. Clearly state the language of choice and intended grade level along with your personal information. There is a $10 application fee and a $10 testing fee. You should bring your child to the Sierramont campus library at 1:30pm on 9/16 for a transfer test. You will be notified of the test result within a week after the test. Only Preschool and Kindergarten students will not need to take transfer placement tests.
BCS needs to combine classes from time to time in order to better utilize space and teaching resources. The class that is merged into others is selected based upon many criteria.
The $20 refund processing fee is clearly stated on all registration forms and is common practice among many Chinese and English private schools. Exception: classes cancelled by BCS will receive full refund (SDR).
All school notices were mailed out with first class mailing about two weeks before first day of school. Please make sure that the address that you have provided the school is the most current, you can do so by leaving a note with the Registration dept, clearly stating your child's name, language class (e.g. M3A), address, phone number, and student ID#. Or email the changes to bcs_board@yahoo.com, attention: Registration.

All cultural class registration were verified during class assignment. If you feel that we have made a mistake, please leave a note with the Cultural class dept and we will research later, or you can go to Morrill MPR campus and we can verify last year's registration record.
SDR stands for "School Drop", which is the designation for students who did not get any cultural class assignment due to lack of space. You have two choices: apply for refund at Morrill MPR, or apply for transfer with the Cultural dept of your campus. SDR refunds the full amount without the $20 processing fee.
You can choose to do so, however, there is typically a 20 minutes traveling time between campuses, and this will cause your child to be late for the class on a regular basis. Many parents have tried it in the past and have ended up dropping at the end.
You can bring your issues to the Principal, Vice Principals, or the campus managers. We will do our best to resolve what issues you may have. Please remember that BCS is a co-op volunteer school, all operational work are done by parent volunteers during their limited spare time. If you feel that there is room for improvement, we welcome you to join us in making this a better school.
Please talk to your Principal, Vice Principals, or the campus managers. Leave a message at our message center at 408-764-9648 or email us at bcs_board@yahoo.com. We will contact you shortly. Welcome!
